Tear Trough Injections, Treatment & Fillers Newcastle

Tear Trough Injections, Treatment & Fillers Newcastle

Eyes tend to be the first place to be affected by the signs of ageing. The tear trough is the area beneath the eye and the upper cheek, this area can lose volume and the skin can become thinner and start to droop.

How does it work?

Heidi who has been a leading expert in tear trough procedure for over 10 years, will administer a dermal filler using a series of micro-injections along the tear trough hollows. She will then gently massage the area to ensure the gel has been evenly distributed.

Our injections use hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar chain module found in all skin and soft tissues throughout the body. It attracts and bind water in the skin, providing volume and hydration, but also cushioning and supporting collagen and elastin fibres and provides a medium, or carrier, for chemical messages between the cells.

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are a clear sterile gel in a syringe for injection into the skin providing instant correction.

After the treatment

We will provide you with full aftercare advice, as we want to minimise risk and promote a speedy recovery from any side effects. You should be able to continue with your normal activities, you may have some redness, pin prick marks, possible swelling and bruising.

How long will it last?

This can vary between individuals, but they can last up to 12 months.
